It’s not the big ideas that change the world, it’s the small ones. Wringer Tee is designers David Brown and Mike Walton’s small idea.
David and Mike had long been looking for a way to express their creativity buried deep within, so in 2007, David purchased Illustrator and the two trained themselves on how to use it. They learned quickly and soon realized they had found their creative outlet.
Their experiments with colors and images caught on with friends who really liked what they saw, but what to do with their designs? T-shirts were the obvious answer; they love t-shirts!

David and Mike are fascinated by the fact that one image, on a t-shirt, can make a huge impact, not only on the one wearing the shirt but all those they encounter.
They have a modern approach to design, but don’t take themselves too seriously, with their underlying mantra “always have fun”. They pull inspiration from current pop culture and the teen pop culture of the 1980’s. They are also inspired by their Southern roots, images of rural America, their travels abroad and the Pacific Northwest.
In February of 2008 David and Mike launched Wringer Tee. They sell an eclectic and stylish line of men’s and women’s t-shirts. Wringer Tee is based in Seattle, Washington and personified the West Coast easy living style. |
